Tips for Autumn 18th October 2018
Cold Weather Workouts:
As the days get shorter and the nights longer, motivation to keep up with your summer fitness routine can significantly drop. Exercising earlier in the day is one way of battling your change of season fatigue. Why not try Yoga or Pilates, it can be an energising way to start your day or unwind at the end.
Bang, Pop, Crackle, Fizz!:
Bonfire night is slowly creeping in, many of you will be watching the fireworks . Although it seems a harmless activity that we all enjoy, be mindful of prolonged standing and your posture- especially if you will be picking up and holding children. It will more than likely be cold out there so ensure you warm up with gentle head and neck exercises before looking up into the night sky.
Slips, Trips and Falls:
From autumn throughout winter, it can be a treacherous whilst out and about: from slippy leaves and frosty pavements! Take care by being vigilant as to what is underfoot and wear the appropriate footwear....as much as we love to see you all, we don’t want to see you for extra visits at the clinic!
